The Digital Industry Division offers a comprehensive portfolio of seamlessly integrated hardware, software and technology-based services in order to support manufacturing companies worldwide in enhancing the flexibility and efficiency of their manufacturing processes and reducing the time to market of their products – be it the automotive or aerospace industry, mechanical engineering or other interesting sectors.

Your mission in the new role:
Your mission in our newly founded value stream in China will be to conquer the Chinese automation market with our strongly accepted portfolio elements to gain new customers and develop new market segments
Responsible for maximizing the business results and customer value resulting from the development and deployment by making trade-off decisions
Furthermore, you determine customer needs by detailing personas, jobs-to-be-done, pains & gains, value propositions and user journeys in co-creation with our customers
Additionally, you act as an entrepreneur in a start-up like environment and verify the product vision in close exchange with the users and customers to achieve the greatest possible customer benefit on the Chinese market
As the responsible product owner within the area of industrial automation applications you are working collaboratively within an agile team and you own the application and prioritization over the complete lifecycle
You will "translate" customer requirements into an actionable backlog and refine them with your scrum team to help understanding of what is required especially from China country point of view
You will be in our headquarters in Beijing also working with colleagues from multiple locations in China and world-wide

Your Qualifications – solid and appropriate
The foundation of your career is a successfully completed university degree in an informatics-, technology field or equivalent education
Proven experience of previous Product Owner, Product Manager, Sales or similar role with a minimum of 5 years of progressive and diverse experience in the domain of industrial automation
Strong business acumen and a strategic & commercial mind-set Knowledge and experience working with various technology platforms and knowledge of the needs of customers or clients
Ability to develop new business models based on newly created solutions like cloud-services with strong focus in the Chinese market and environment
Furthermore, you have experience in communication with different stakeholders (e.g. customers, other projects, architects). Knowledge in the field of automation systems (SIMATIC) is a plus
You live ownership culture and end-to-end responsibility with strong quality awareness, and you possess a high level of self-reflection
You write and speak English fluent
You are comfortable holding presentations and exciting customers for new solutions and offerings
