Siemens is looking for a Business Development Engineer for Digital Industry.
You will be responsible to develop business in partnership with the sales channels for SCADA solutions in F&B market, with focus in segment specific production processes - like Milk processing, Baking and Brewing.
The main role considers all the necessary aspects for the product commercialization in Brazil: business development, partner relationship, business targets for the involved portfolio, discussion with Headquarter and sales strategy together with Sales Departments.
Customer-related analysis of market and competition (e.g. CRM analysis), creation of customer profiles
Partner/Target customer visits and value-based SCADA presentations including required pre-sales support.
Drive target customers/partners to participate in SCADA events in collaboration with F&B Headquarter and the region. Review regularly SCADA pipeline in the region
Supports regional sales on strategic, tech and commercial aspects
Degrees in Electrical, Automation or IT Engineering
Technological basis competence in segment specific production processes - like Milk processing, Baking and Brewing is a differential
General knowledge of special process parts like CIP, Mixing of solid and liquid materials, Blending, Weighing etc.
Knowledge about common topics like Hygiene, Process and Product quality, specific Safety and Security regulations, competitive situation etc.

+6 years of experience in the automation portfolio (PLC+SCADA)
Experience in supporting the sales team
Availability to travel (~50% of time)
English in advanced level
