Job Description:

  • Global EHS-Governance within the BU (within the framework of the given 
  • CEO- and Division-EHS-Governance).  
  • Leadership and Coordination of all EHS-relevant topics with the BU Strategy. 
  • Functional EHS-implementation and monitoring / controlling within the BU. 
  • Support / advice the BU CEO and Management. 
  • Cross-functional integration of EHS for Power Transmission projects. 
  • Technical guidance of the EHS managers/specialists in all BU locations. 
  • Identification of the available EHS Resources and Competences at all 
  • locations.  
  • Cooperation with the regional companies. 
  • Integration of EHS in R&D, purchasing and project management processes. 
  • BU-Representative for EHS. 
  • Cooperation as member of the expanded EHS Division Team. 
STRATEGY / -IMPLEMENTATION: Within the framework of the company- / 
  • division- wide minimum requirements:  
  • Consolidation of BU-specific requirements / standards.  
  • Integration of the overall EHS-strategize in the BU  
  • Control and monitoring with cross-functional alignment  
  • Set up Training and continuous improvement program  
  • Optimization and Monitoring of strategy KPIs with Reporting 

 
EHS GUIDELINE COMPETENCE in the DIVISION: 
  • Planning and developing BU-wide standards/processes/tools/interfaces  
  • Determination of EHS targets: (resources, assessments/audits, training and 
  • qualification; scorecard/dashboard)  
  • Implementation and control of EHS-/standards/processes/tools/interface 
  • management in the BU 
  • Controlling the processes for implementing the applicable circulars/ processes/ tools in the BU 
DEVELOPMENT and Implementation of the EHS ORGANIZATION in the BU: 
  • Developing the BU-specific requirement for an EHS organization/roles/job 
  • profiles for BU/BS Functions (in cooperation with Division EHS)  
  • Implementing the EHS organization/roles/job profiles in the BU  
  • Identification of synergies to optimize the BU organization  
  • Assurance of implementation on BU level 

EHS MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS:  
  • If applicable adjustment of the EHS Management System on BU level.  
  • Control the implementation process in the BU.  
  • Assurance of Implementation on BU level. 

Requirements:

  • > 10 years' EHS experience, preferably in product, system or solution business, preferably in international 
  • companies,  
  • > 3 years' in senior EHS functions and/or managerial position.  
  • Experience in different cultural areas and network within Siemens Organization desirable, at least in the 
  • management of international workgroups 
  •  Bachelor degree in Occupational Safety, Health, Environment or Engineering 
  • Certificied General Safety Expert 
  • Trained in Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001)
