Be at the heart of project delivery to our customers!
Do you know how to drive software projects forward effectively? Can you build relationships with trust and transparency? If you're passionate about project delivery, and can make real impact for customers, we'd like to talk to you!
Project Managers are the people that help get things done for our customers. They are responsible for planning, organizing, monitoring, and coordinating all aspects of the projects we deliver. Joining us as a Project Manager, you'll be central to the day-to-day operational management of medium to large scale software projects, and help our customers transform their businesses. Our large projects can take over a year; medium scale ones maybe 4-5 months. We need to find someone with the technical knowledge and project skills to help drive our projects to a successful completion.
What you'll do
This role focusses on engaging with customers to drive projects forward with the right resources, processes and tools for success. Typically, our projects are medium to large in scope, with increasing focus on the larger and more complex types as our business grows. Project Managers have to be comfortable with a varied caseload - you might have several contracts ongoing at any time. You are the central point for communication about the project, internally and externally. You focus people on the decisions and choices to be made, and you ensure negotiations are run effectively. You build consensus, create options, and find efficiencies that help to make things run smoothly.
A Project Manager is the go-to project consultant and project authority providing support throughout the entire lifecycle. In our world, this means everything from design, implementation, installation, troubleshooting, configuration, enhancements, integration, testing, deployment, production and through to post-production support. You'll be accountable for:
- Operational execution of the project plan - delivery on the day to day activities, agreeing scope and work packages, and delegating tasks to the right people
- Project planning and control, risk management and compliance
- Presenting project information and representing the project to ensure updates, delays, challenges and successes are understood
- Managing the finance of the project: budgeting, capital project management, etc. and ensure that the project is delivered within the financial requirements scope
What do you need to have:
We are looking for someone with experience of successful management and delivery of IT projects with a PLM or MES background. It's important that we work with someone who knows how to influence and connect to people with credibility, so we will look for evidence of really strong relationship building skills. A collaborative mentality and a proactive and dynamic approach are essential. You can build consensus and influence for outcomes with all types of people, and you solve problems in pragmatic ways. Classic project management skills, such as resource planning, budget allocation, tracking, reporting and expectation management are critical. You'll speak Spanish and English fluently, and any experience in aerospace, automotive & transportation, machinery and/or CP&G (process) would be desirable. If you're experienced in managing PSA (Professional Services Automation) software tools, ideally OpenAir, that's ideal.
