Then come and join our global team as a Collaborations Manager - Advanced Therapies.   This is a part time role, 3 days a week based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. You will be responsible for directing and supporting collaboration and research activities in Australia & New Zealand for Siemens Healthineers customers across our business activities.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Work with Siemens Healthineers collaboration and research sites in order to create outcomes that improve the performance of Siemens systems and to help our customers with their research goals and objectives.           

Direct and coordinate collaboration activities across AT in close cooperation with respective team members. Supervise and implement a common approach to research and collaboration management activities, explore synergies among the business lines and facilitate sharing of best practice across the organisation.        

Definition, coordination and development of new collaboration topics and partners and categorize the level of support.                                                                                                                                            

Drive the agreed collaborations, studies and projects and supervise management of the milestones and timelines of reporting and outcome of results                                                                                                                                                                                

Support at local and international scientific conferences and workshops will be required.                                                                                                                                                                           

Build up a clinical/ research database in order to create clinical sales material, presentations and images for regional conferences and workshops and customer support regarding publication of clinical studies and results. Improve visibility of results at regional and international levels.   

Develop strategies for stronger integration of local collaboration management activities with the respective global BL Headquarters.

Support the country organisations and work with the team members to support our reference site customers.                                   

Your qualifications, experience and attributes:

You will have experience in Advanced Therapies in both clinical and research environments as well as an interest in supporting activities in the wider AT environment.  You will have an understanding of IPR (intellectual Property Rights) whilst previous experience in contractual work is advantageous along with strong negotiation skills (project, legal agreements).  You will have experience in publishing scientific results and methodology of scientific work.  You will also have strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate with different teams and research groups. Experience in international and intercultural environments is desirable. Willing to travel throughout Australia and New Zealand.  Eligible to work in Australia and New Zealand.
