Partner Marketing Senior Manager – Content-SISW

Position Overview

This is a key senior individual contributor role in support of Digital Industries Software strategic alliance and technology partnerships. Reporting to the global leader of the Partner Marketing team, this role is primarily responsible for creating core thought leadership and solution-level content and collateral aimed at industrial executive, business, and technical audiences in conjunction with Siemens strategic partners. White papers, brochures, blogs, and other types of print and online articles in support of defined joint business and marketing plans with such partners will be a primary focus of the role. The ability to execute through a combination of direct action and in collaboration with other subject matter expert individuals within Siemens and our strategic partners will be critical to success.


Drive or enable the development and publication of core solutions content and assets targeted at industrial verticals (automotive, aerospace, machinery, heavy equipment, high tech electronics, etc.) in support of several partners and partnerships. Translate complex technical topics into relevant, compelling and easy to understand content. Perform research, conduct internal and external interviews and collaborate with other subject matter experts as needed to define and write appropriate assets.

Establish effective working relationships with other subject-matter counterparts within Siemens and its partners in the industrial software markets.

Develop compelling content for targeted audiences to help achieve marketing contribution objectives with our partners in relation to joint lead generation metrics and overall marketing contribution to joint pipelines, within assigned deadlines and budgets as relevant.

Assist partner marketing mangers within Siemens and its partners in defining and specifying the asset mix for various joint marketing campaigns to ensure campaign KPIs are met, and assist campaign owners in the creating derived content for social media and other online promotional purposes as necessary to drive campaign success.

This position requires an individual who has substantial writing and other content creation knowledge and experience, with a proven track record of developing compelling content for industrial business and technical audiences.  Outstanding writing, communication, and project management skills are also essential. Experience working with large global technology and/or Systems Integrator & consulting companies, especially in an industrial context, is highly preferred.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

- 10 plus years of proven solutions content development experience in the B2B software industry

- Technical grasp of products and processes central to cloud-based IoT-as-a-service or other solutions targeted at industrial verticals (automotive, aerospace, machinery, heavy equipment, high tech electronics, etc.)

- Knowledge of all or portions of the Siemens Digital Industries Software product portfolio or equivalent

- Expert writing skills

- Strong content development, project management, and collaboration skills

- Ability to work and deliver to a deadline with high quality work

- Ability to work with others and build consensus-based decisions

- Ability to travel up to 10% (post-pandemic)

- Ability to thrive in a complex environment within a large company

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

- Knowledge of, and experience within, the cloud/SaaS software market with companies such as Microsoft or AWS
