ESMC Presales Account Development  


  • As part of the sales team, lead and execute industry focused, prescriptive and value driven sales engagements (typically cross-portfolio large and global engagements) through productive business relationships with customers and prospects, and other respected industry leaders and 3rd parties.
  • Using standard practices, provide input into the formation of a cohesive customer sales strategy, develop executive briefs, communicate solution visions specific to a customer or prospect, and prepare value propositions and business cases, to support the sale.
  • Build trusted advisor status by having business conversations with the customer around industry trends, business challenges, and business needs, and by sharing experiences from other customers in the same industry.
  • Develop holistic transformation projects, with multi-year roadmap, aligned with the business needs identified and the agreed sales strategy. Speak with authority, articulating Siemens point of view on solution adoption to deliver competitive advantage.
  • Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships through face-to-face highly compelling presentation at all levels and site visits to facilitate future sales.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Computer Science, Business
  • Minimum 10 years of Presales Technical Support / Management, or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience with Siemens PLM or Mentor Graphics Solutions
  • Experience having business conversations at the executive level

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Preferred Education, MBA or MS in related field
