What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure:

As the Sr. Enterprise Security Systems Administrator you will place a crucial role in managing the Physical Security Systems for a Strategic Global Customer. This role will work with global and onsite security teams to deploy, maintain and troubleshoot core systems supporting Global Security and Resilience .This position requires the inherent knowledge in Physical Security Systems design, architecture, security and functionality and extensive knowledge in Physical Security Applications, Hardware, network and integrations. You should have a solid understanding of corporate IT process, systems and security. This is a cross-functional position that works with both internal and external teams on the deployment and completion of projects, tickets and deployments of new technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor Security and Resilience systems and infrastructures (globally).
  • Manage and/or provide technical knowledge for system integrations and Security Applications. *Applications listed below*
  • Responsible for Global CCure 9000 and Genetec/ExaqVision for Genentech legacy sites, Roche site in Singapore, Pleasanton, Gina, Bina and Geneweave.
  • Support Core Systems program to design, test, and implement new complex systems, assessing technology solutions within the global market.
  • Accountable for installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools for all security systems
  • Address immediate issues and proactively ensure the highest levels security systems availability.
  • Monitor and test security application and hardware upgrades.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of security systems applications including backup and redundancy capabilities.
  • Provide support to global infrastructure and Design of security systems, to include locations for Roche and Genentech.
  • Maintain Security System application SQL databases.
  • Design and Document standards for Security Systems Architecture
  • Responsible for providing reports and analytics to other departments.
  • Mentor and teach others to build up team knowledge and strengths.
  • Plans, tests, and evaluates complex problems.
  • Strategically evolve and grow existing products and services to constantly deliver a better user experience.
  • Successful completion of Genentech specific site training and continual training compliance.

  • Microsoft Windows XP, 7 and 10 OS
  • Microsoft SCCM
  • Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP & DHCP)
  • SQL Database understanding
  • Proven ability to successfully and efficiently monitor systems
  • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of access control systems
  • Proven experience with access control systems planning, security principles, and general software management
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Self-starter and ability to work with minimum or no supervision.
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills are essential to facilitate the work of cross-functional and interdepartmental teams.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
