This position supports Siemens’ immunoassay analyzers located at the Siemens Healthineers Walpole, MA facility. This individual must have a strong background supporting medical instrumentation devices; Must be disciplined in following written procedures and established documentation practices.

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As an Engineering Technician – Medical Diagnostics Instrumentation, you will be responsible for

*Installation of new analyzers and performing installation qualification activities

*Troubleshooting system performance issues and make effective repairs

*Completing preventative maintenance activities as required

*Completing documentation requirements for maintenance and repair activities

Required Education, Skills & Experience:

*3-6 years’ experience supporting medical diagnostic instrumentation
*Strong understanding of fluidic systems and electronic controls
*Must be capable of following written instructions and reading schematics
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and excellent communication and
organizational skills
*Experience working in a laboratory setting
*Scheduled on call support is required

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:

*Associate degree or 2-year vocational technical training in Electronic Technology or
 Electro/Mechanical Engineering discipline
*Experience supporting Siemens’ immunoassay analyzers
