Our team - Transaction Support - provides financial due diligence, valuation/ PPA and accounting expertise to (top) management and (corporate) M&A to ensure financial aspects of a transaction are properly addressed. We work in multidisciplinary teams on a global basis, with employees and (top) management from a wide variety of Siemens businesses.

What part will you play?
  • With your valuation/ PPA experience, you have a leading role on Purchase Price Allocation projects, working closely together with our Accounting Business Partners and the acquiring Siemens business in executing the PPA
  • Discuss PPA results with management and prepare documentation for the external auditors; review and challenge any PPA reports from external providers 
  • Work on global buy & sell-side due diligence projects using your financial and accounting skills to perform financial due diligence procedures, complex financial analyses and valuations
  • Advise on the finance-related sections of purchase agreements
  • Key contact person for the financial work-stream in close collaboration with Corporate M&A
  • Establish, maintain and leverage relationships with our stakeholders (e.g. Corporate M&A, Corporate Finance and management of the acquiring/selling Siemens entities)
  • Assume a pro-active role in Siemens’ community of PPA and valuation experts
  • Business travel is limited (<15%)
What you need to make real what matters.
  • Strong academic history with a degree in Business administration, Finance or Accounting
  • 5-8 years of professional experience with a focus on Valuation and Purchase Price Allocation within Siemens, related industries, or relevant experience within a Transaction Advisory Services or Valuation practice of a ‘Big 4’ firm
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience in Business / Performance Controlling, Financial Due Diligence, Business Plan modeling and Valuation
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of corporate group structures and processes
  • You are flexible, result oriented and have a hands-on mentality to get things done
  • Fluent in English (German is an advantage)
