What part will you play?
  • You will be responsible for business development for innovative software as part of the digitalization strategy for production machines, e.g. digital twins for virtual commissioning, simulation of machines (including FE models) or intelligent algorithms in Edge and Cloud
  • In this context, you will develop and implement new business models
  • With your expertise, you realize a professional rollout of our digitalization portfolio
  • You empower and inspire the regional sales organization
  • You set regional and industry-specific priorities and assess the resulting business potential
  • You acquire and manage pilot projects with trendsetters in the mechanical engineering industry
  • You win internal and external partners for cooperative projects at business line and division level, bundle forces, and thus realize goals more quickly
  • You present to customers and distributors and always keep an eye on the competition.
What you need to make real what matters.
  • You have successfully completed a degree in the field of mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent or have a comparable technical education with relevant professional experience
  • Thanks to your many years of professional experience in automation technology or mechanical engineering, you understand the OEM business (mechanical engineering) and live customer orientation
  • You are familiar with the Totally Integrated Automation portfolio and associated software
  • You are also familiar with PLM software, e.g. for factory planning, development, and engineering in mechanical engineering (CAD, CAE), simulation, and virtual commissioning
  • You know how automation and PLM software interact and you want to realize synergies
  • You have outstanding knowledge of customer applications (machines, plants) or from service and commissioning of automation solutions
  • You are able to present and moderate in German and English. Ideally you speak another foreign language
