This role is part of our business unit "Intelligent Traffic Systems" (in future: "Yunex Traffic"; more than 3,000 employees and 600 million Euro revenue). ITS is preparing for the step towards organizational independence, which is to be taken in the current fiscal year. As a 100% subsidiary, ITS will remain part of Siemens Mobility fort he time beeing.
Your new role – challenging and future-oriented
In your new role you will act as Commercial Bid Manager and as Commercial Project Manager. You will support our countries in their bids and projects in execution, as well as taking full commercial responsibility for headquarter projects.
You will support our countries in the preparation of bids, including defining the business model and creating the bid calculation as well as clarifying questions with subject matter experts like Tax, Accounting, Legal, Export, and sharing lessons learned from other countries.
You will provide guidance and ensure quality in the internal approval process for international projects.
You will support and monitor project execution through conducting project reviews, creating claim management strategies and analyzing non-conformance cost jointly with the local CPMs.
You will act as Commercial Bid & Project Manager for international headquarter projects, including the analysis of tender documents, alignment with experts from Legal, Taxes and Export, preparation of the bid calculation and setting prices together with the Sales colleagues. During the execution phase you will have full responsibility for all commercial aspects related to the customer contract.
Furthermore, you will also perform cross-functional analyses and support strategic projects, e.g. analyzing our customer base to support a sales push, or defining and improving processes for the global Yunex organization.
Your qualifications – solid and appropriate
You have completed a degree in a business administration or a related discipline.
You have experience as Commercial Project Manager or as Commercial Sales / Bid Manager. A CPM certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
Additional experiences in currency management or trade finance (handling of bank guarantees) are a plus.
The highly international nature of your role requires you to have very good English language and integrative skills.
Furthermore, you are experienced in working in international setups, preferably with work experience abroad.
