The CS BA team provides strong and reliable transparency on the financials and guidance on all commercial aspects of the business. Therefore, balancing the need for accuracy and efficiency, focusing on digitalisation, as well as monitoring and driving actions for improvements are the focus. In addition, a close collaboration with multiple stakeholders inside and outside of GB&I is very important to be successful. The position reports into the Head of Customer Service BA and provides strong partnership with our Service Leadership Team. This is a key role in Service Finance and will develop with you ensuring a constant learning journey for the upcoming 3-4 years before moving into another finance function at Siemens Healthineers to ensure your personal career and growth continues.

What are my main responsibilities?
Deputising the Head of Service BA, playing an integral role in the monthly forecast, closing and annual budget processes aligning with multiple stakeholders for the overall Service business:
Provision of analytical reports and high-level messages for the Finance and Service Community to support informed business decision making including non-financial KPIs summarized in a Service Reporting Package
Monthly in-depth analysis of the Service P&L, Balance Sheet, Cost Centres and Headcount, highlighting areas of concern and driving initiatives
Acts as the first line contact on all commercial and finance related topics, communicating with the Business Areas and Business Lines headquarters, Service Region Finance and multiple stakeholders within GB&I
Finance Ownership of the Education and Service Diagnostics Businesses
Lead the month end processes to ensure that Service data is accurate:
New Orders and Revenues are recognised as per IFRS15
Balance sheet reconciliations and RIC controls are completed, and journals are raised on a timely basis
Drive substantial process improvements and the development of Dashboards together with the GB&I Digitalization Team including strong collaboration with headquarters and gathering different perspectives from other countries
Manage Service productivity of > £5m p.a., initiating new measures and providing transparency as the Finance Expert
Special projects related to Service e.g., Business Cases, CS Pricing, Introduction of a new SAP system, supporting business carve outs and the integration of businesses
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Passionate and self-motivated with a strong growth and change mindset
- Ability to set priorities and overcome obstacles with a willingness to learn from mistakes
- Business experience in a financial role and comfortable working with senior management
- Very high customer orientation, focusing on value add, finding innovative solutions on own initiative
- Enjoys collaborating and ability to work effectively in teams
- Experienced in managing multiple stakeholders (high level vs. detailed messages)
- Strong analytical, communication and execution skills to provide valuable insights proactively
- Passion for Digitalisation in Finance; experience in new tools e.g., KNIME, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, UI Path
- Experience with Big Data and drawing valuable insights from large volumes of data
- Very proficient in the use of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- SAP experience and an accountancy qualification would be an advantage
