Job Description

We are looking for a Administrative Management Assistant to add to the Siemens’ Amtrak Services team in New Castle, Delaware. The right person will be highly organized, have great attention to detail, be a master of the English language and be able to calmly chart a safe course through the squalls that appear on the horizon. This person will assist the service team through many different tasks both large and small and will be considered the prime contact person when dealing with both simple and complex issues. In this key role, you will help us integrate and refine our current work-flow with your organizational mindset and improvement mindset. We will look to you to be willing to do what it takes to make a manager more productive. We will grow together, drawing from past experiences to arrive at a custom fit for our growing organization. Responsibilities:
In a typical day, you will be responsible for providing routine administrative support for our service department by organizing and expediting work to the appropriate team members. You will also be responsible for responding to inquiries and non-routine correspondence from both internal and external customers. Utilizing your computer skills, you will gather, analyze, and summarize data to prepare reports and develop visual charts, graphs, and presentations. Organizational skills will come into play daily, as you route work, answer the telephone and written inquiries, schedule appointments, travel, conferences, and department activities, maintain electronic and hard copy files/records, and build relationships with our customer and within the larger organization.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
HS diploma or equivalent work experience required; At least two years of professional experience in an Administrative Support or Office Coordinator/Manager role.  The successful candidate will possess strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational, and interpersonal skills.
