Team Assistant for Yunex Traffic

Job Description

Our company is currently undergoing a significant organisational change. An independent organisation, Yunex Traffic, is being carved out of the large transnational corporation Siemens. The new company, a leader in innovative and intelligent traffic solutions, will be in closer contact with customers and have a flat organisational structure and the ability to react quickly to the current situation on the market. What does Brno R&D look like?
Our everyday life revolves around cars, intersections, smart cities and technical solutions. We are developing solutions for traffic control for a new generation of smart cities. The Brno team consists of approximately 80 developers, testers and traffic engineers. In addition, we co-operate with our colleagues in Germany, the United States, England, and India. We often like to meet outside of work, do sports together, go out for a beer, and travel together (when permitted).

What will be your responsibilities?
  • Supporting the head of the team (calendar management, office organisation, organising external and internal meetings, organising business trips, ensuring the running of the office, settling business trips, etc.)
  • Supporting line managers and their teams (creating orders – office supplies, archiving order documentation, correspondence management, etc.)
  • Supporting EHS activities (checking defibrillators, ensuring electrical checks, etc.)
  • Stock-taking and managing the storage facility (office equipment, electronics, etc.)
  • Preparing reports, checking attendance and reported hours
  • Managing the Brno department’s car fleet
What should you possess?
  • Secondary or tertiary education (e.g. in economics or the humanities)
  • Very good knowledge of English and/or German is a plus
  • Experience from a similar position (e.g., as a team assistant)
  • Driving licence (Group B) and willingness to travel mainly within Brno to ensure office operations
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs 
  • A pleasant and professional behaviour with a considerable dose of empathy
  • The ability to organise your work well and willingness to learn new things
  • A thorough and conscientious approach, because details matter
