Job Description

The motors and drives Oil&Gas and Chemicals Taskforce is responsible for all business development and sales related activities within these vertical industries concerning motors, general motion control and large drives applications products and related factories for dedicated end customers and EPCs worldwide. The department itself consists of three subgroups in order to offer full turn-key service to our customers. For the Pre-Order Coordination group we are looking for a new team member.

What will be your main responsibilities?

  • Development a global business strategy for the Oil&Gas considering low-voltage motors and drives
  • Definition of worldwide acquisition strategies and leadership of the capture team
  • Project management for business-segments or cross-plant projects and framework contracts
  • Technical offer clarifications at the end customer and EPC
  • Negotiation and conclusion of framework contracts
  • Close cooperation with the vertical Chemicals / Oil&Gas, different sales groups / PPMs / factories worldwide as well as different Siemens regions worldwide
  • Direct and close contact to end customers and EPCs worldwide
  • Management of escalations
  • Presentations at customers, management, fairs, internal events

What we would appreciate
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering
  • Know-how about sales business processes (internal and external business processes, about the business processes of / interaction between end customer/ EPC/OEM)
  • Knowledge of low voltage motors & drives
  • Experience with project management
  • Know-how about the vertical market and processes in Oil&Gas /Chemicals is plus
  • Structured approach and problem-solving mindset
  • Result and customer orientation
  • Business fluent English, spoken and written, German language is advantage
  • Willingness to travel
