Due to growth and expansion, we are adding a Rail Production Assembly Educator to the team. In this critical role, you will provide the subject matter expertise, hands on training and skill development for our assemblers who are building trains at our manufacturing campus in beautiful and affordable Sacramento, California
What you will be doing:
Conduct individual and group technical training on mechanical and electrical assembly processes
Utilize classroom and lab instruction, student assessment mechanisms, and classroom management techniques to provide an engaged classroom experience to students.
Ensure that each participant has been presented with the material to efficiently meet the learning objectives
Participate in ongoing faculty assessment and professional development activities to ensure an active and dynamic learning environment for all assemblers
Actively participate in meetings, review and analyze assessment data, compile reports, as well completing administrative and academic tasks within expectations
Development of solutions to support on the job training efforts, based on process and quality analytics
To succeed in this role, you will have:
High school diploma, GED, and/or proof of completion of related vocational training program.
Verifiable work experience including a minimum of five years verifiable training experience within the last ten years
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with success in collaborating with diverse groups
Demonstration of the highest levels of integrity and professionalism in all aspects, including appearance, demeanor, and attitude
Capability to prioritize, embrace responsibility and to meet commitments
Outstanding organizational, analytical and problem-resolution skills
Confirmed computer software skills including Microsoft Office
