Job Title: QA Engineer

Job Location: US- OR- Wilsonville

Works closely with the Catapult High-Level Synthesis development team to identify the required test coverage for new and existing product features. Develops test plans that describe the scope of the testing effort, establishes testing conditions and criteria and identifies the test matrix for covering all aspects of the product feature.

Executes the test plan, creating any required test input (HLS design examples and/or command scripting), committing testcases to Perforce and ensuring continued clean execution of the tests in the automated nightly test infrastructure. 

Performs routine audits of test efficiency/robustness and software code coverage metrics.

Must be details oriented and proficient in scripting. Must understand standard Electronic Design Automation tools such as HDL simulators and RTL synthesis. Works with minimal supervision on complex projects with wide latitude for independent judgment.

Job Qualifications:
  • BS in Computer Engineering + 2 years experience in EDA Software Quality Assurance.
  • Good problem solving skill
  • Comfortable with C++ code and familiar with SystemC concepts.
  • Familiar with RTL descriptions (VHDL and/or Verilog) for simulation and/or synthesis.
  • Strong scripting skills (preferably TCL and bash).
  • Good technical communication (written and verbal).
  • Experience with Unix/Linux and C++ application testing are required
