This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Production Tech-Pharm 4, you will be responsible for:

  • Latex area in-process testing and antibody reagent production to support Glasgow Reagent Manufacturing
  • Operate equipment (analytical, production, DM, DV) to complete all manufacturing procedures as prescribed
  • Document all such activities accurately in standard production worksheets as part of the device history record
  • Support continual improvements in multiple areas: laboratory, procedure, process, technical
  • Interface with R&D, TechOps and other functional organizations within Manufacturing

  • You have knowledge of GMP regulations
  • You have good PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Evidence of being a strong player in a team setting
  • Must be able to work independently, able to multi-task and prioritize
  • Must be a self-starter

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science (biochemistry, analytical, organic) or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years of assay testing, organic synthesis, protein purification, and/or modifications experience; including experience in a Medical Technology industry
  • Solid knowledge and extensive experience on PETIA and PETINIA methods used for Dimension, Vista and Atellica platforms
  • Basic laboratory techniques used in a chemistry lab (spectrophotometry, pipetting, handling of chemicals, etc.)
