The Industrial Edge Business Development Manager takes the lead to identify, qualify and win Industrial Edge opportunities with ready-to-scale Industrial Edge use cases in defined target customer segments. With their strong IT / SW background, the BDM is able to lead/orchestrate IT integration / security customer interactions and to influence buying decisions with relevant IT stakeholders. This is a sales role targeted on the growth of the Industrial Edge business in the UK and Ireland

This a sales role targeted on the growth of the Industrial Edge Business and is home based covering the UK and Ireland markets. There is an opportunity for wider travel for HQ meetings and customer events.

Change the future with us.

-  Identify, qualify and win Industrial Edge opportunities to grow our new software-driven business

-  Act as regional business developer for Industrial Edge focusing on customer segmentation, value propositions and ready-to-scale use cases

-  Provide openness on Industrial Edge KPIs including market potential, sales pipeline, won opportunities, revenue impact etc.

-  Generate qualified success stories / references / lessons learned based on opportunities / customers

-  Co-ordinate a customer-centric approach by involving all vital stakeholders from the customer side including IT / OT personas as well as internally (e.g. technical consultant, security specialists, sales rep.)


WE DON’T NEED SUPERHEROES, JUST SUPER MINDS 
-  Knowledge on software business models, ecosystem business, and consulting

-  Knowledge and application of new value selling sales strategies (e.g. solution sales, challenger sales)

-  Basic knowledge on devices, apps, docker technology and value add of these technologies

-  Passion for new technology

-  Strong and proven IT / SW background

-  Stakeholder management skills addressing C Level and manufacturing IT
