What will you do?

  • Install and connect conduits and cables
  • Position and install equipment panel sensors as well as other components and control devices.
  • Check wiring
  • Carry out or contribute to system installation
  • Participate in the final inspection of the site
  • Assist the project manager in coordinating on-site activities and monitoring progress Prepare and schedule the installation
  • Assess and order required materials
  • Give ideas to solve problems related to the design or installation
  • Be part of the initial client handover team, where possible, to plan work from the beginning

What will you need to succeed?

  • High School or Vocational studies diploma
  • CCQ card, journeyman level
  • ASP construction health and safety card (or completion of a 30-hour course during personal time in order to obtain it);
  • Must be available to work with flexible schedules and additional hours (evenings/week-ends) where necessary
  • Very good knowledge of French both written and spoken
  • Basic knowledge of English both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of building mechanical systems (an asset)
  • Good communication skills and teamwork, while demonstrating autonomy and resourcefulness
  • Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems
  • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle required
