Talent Acquisition Specialist – Early Career Programs

A unique opportunity to be part of one of the leading software organizations for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) industry in the country.  This role will have 2 major responsibilities: The first being responsible for the EDA Associate Rotation Engineer Training Program and the second is building influential relationships with some of the country’s best engineering programs to advance our Talent Acquisition footprint in attracting recent college graduates to Siemens Software.

Associate Rotation Engineer Training Program

The Associate Rotation Engineers are members of a team of highly motivated individuals working with customers designing the most complex hardware and software systems in the world and whose applications span the electronics industry. This training program will give our new engineers a unique insight into our technical marketing, product support, and sales organizations. After the successful completion of this12-month training program, our new Engineers will be eligible to advance into one of these organizations

The goal of this hiring strategy is to provide development and training opportunities to recent college graduates through:

Recruitment and onboarding

Mentoring

On-the-job training with EDA customers

Technical and Business skills classes

Early Career Specialist

You will also own the recruitment life cycle (identifying, attracting and introducing early career talent) for open positions that are available for engineers ready to begin their professional careers. You’ll work to build pipelines, establish relationships, and source newly graduated engineers to start their career with Siemens Digital Industries Software.

Key deliverables include:

Sourcing Candidates: Sourcing of candidates utilizing recruitment tools, experience and expertise. Proactively and creatively source active and passive candidates and manage a network of potential candidates in anticipation of future job openings and demand.

Introducing the best talent: Owning the identification and selection of candidates against job requirements.  Assessing talent to effectively narrow large candidate pools to a select number of finalists. Collaboration with hiring managers and our Talent Acquisition Team during the recruiting process.

Selling Siemens SISW as an employer of choice: Representing and selling Siemens Industrial Software to candidates and college campuses as an employer of choice.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2+ years of experience contributing to or leading a university/early career program
  • Ability to travel to college campuses for various recruiting events (meet & greets, information sessions, career fairs)
  • Driven to create a great experience for candidates
  • Ability to prioritize, flex, and work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Excellent written & verbal communication, relationship building, multi-tasking, organizational, presentation, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience establishing customer relationships and a track record of excellent customer satisfaction
  • Experience with tools and technology including an Applicant Tracking System preferred
  • Strong MS Office Suites skills
