This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Filling & Packaging Supervisor– 3rd shift, you will be responsible for:

*Managing 3rd shift operations including full-time and contractor personnel within the Filling and Packaging departments.

*Monitoring multiple automated filling and packaging lines.

*Identifying opportunities for improvement, determination of root cause and implementation of solutions.

*Participating in frontline troubleshooting of filling and packaging processes.

*Managing respective work-flow processes to ensure all plant and production targets are achieved.

*Designing and proposing development of continuous improvement principles.

*Defining and ensuring implementation of function specific processes, procedures, methods and/or tools.

*Ensuring adherence to relevant internal and local EHS-standards.

*Ensuring optimum machine utilization and daily/shift to shift product scheduling.

*Contributing to productions plans in collaboration with Planning.

*Ensuring availability of work instructions and guidelines for filling and packaging operations.

*Career coaching and development of employees.

*Supporting Manufacturing Engineering implementing procedures and equipment procurement.

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

*BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

*Typically 3 -5 years of successful experience in a directly related field.

*Detailed oriented and demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and high quality.

*Proven management in high volume cGMP manufacturing environment.

*Familiarity with filling and packaging operations

*Knowledge of SAP & Lean methodologies.

*Demonstrates knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures for supervised work groups.

*Microsoft office experience.

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:

*Familiarity with filling and packaging operations

*Knowledge of SAP as well as Lean manufacturing methods
