Job Description

Job Summary:

This role partners with zone marketing and central demand marketing functions to effectively extend and execute demand creation in the People’s Republic of China. Leading a team of inbound and outbound marketers, you’ll tailor and deploy the industry marketing plans in China that create the demand to deliver pipeline and support local revenue goals. This role works closely with Zone Execution pods to track, evaluate, and optimize campaign performance and to consolidate plans and feedback to central marketing functions. This team ensures we understand and utilizes tactics and tools that create an optimal experience for customers and targets in China.

Role & Responsibilities:

·      Customize and execute centrally created programs for local deployment in the People’s Republic of China

  • Manage all local campaign/tactic execution including scheduling, vendors, and tools
  • Assess local marketing engagement and identify optimization opportunities
  • Evaluate, select, and manage vendors that contribute to local demand marketing programs, including event venues and services, digital marketing agencies, advertising and content publishers, designers, copywriters, translators, and data providers
  • Manage cross team service-level agreement deliverables to ensure campaigns execute on time
  • Understand and monitor plan, campaign, and tactics targets, providing regular and consistent feedback on performance to stakeholders
  • Deep knowledge of the industry plan, its cadence and KPIs as well as the performance metrics to achieve KPIs
  • Analyze Zone/Industry and Local Industry/Campaign performance and forecasts across demand waterfall including pipeline volume and progression including specific views for segments and regions
  • Ensure that all execution and campaign stakeholders understand the industry plan’s local objectives, cadence and KPIs
  • Deep knowledge of day to day execution activities and results within China

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Understands the B2B sales cycle and looks for opportunities to improve demand generation, pipeline contribution and sales opportunity acceleration
  • Able to market to a range of B2B buyers using a wide variety of offers and delivery mechanisms with a deep understanding of the requirements and nuances of demand creation in China
  • Fluent in demand generation performance management in a B2B environment, including within the Forrester B2B Revenue Waterfall
  • Able to align tactical plans with strategies consistently producing results on time and within budget
  • One or more years working with direct or indirect sales teams in relevant markets developing business plans
  • Extensive Inbound Marketing strategy/execution experience
  • Motivated, inquisitive, and persistent
  • Readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
  • Highly collaborative and focused on business and customer impact
  • Fluent in English and highly effective at communicating across all mediums

Education and Experience Requirement:

·         Undergraduate Degree

·         Proven marketing experience in the B2B software industry, specific domain experience is preferred

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

·         Percentage of travel: 10-20%
