The Siemens Healthineers Clinical Applications Specialist has an overall responsibility for providing Clinical Education support and troubleshooting on Siemens CT Imaging Equipment for our customers. S/he will provide best in class Clinical Education phone support, instruction and problem resolution on CT systems including all software and hardware components. The ideal candidate possesses self-determination to strive in a high stress, detail-oriented situation, utilizing excellent listening and problem-solving skills for end resolution.  S/he is up to date on the latest tools and resources needed to improve customer and employee training and support. S/he represents Siemens Healthineers and Clinical Education with professionalism and a focus on high customer satisfaction. The candidate will work with the CT Modality team, the CT Competency Management Specialist, the CT Education Development Specialist, and Education and Service Management teams to continually develop clinically relevant knowledge and expertise to ensure a positive customer experience, as well as participate and promote internal team integration and networking resulting in a sharing of knowledge and expertise.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Customer Care Center:

§  Responsible for providing clinical applications support to customers, clinical service engineers, technical support engineers, and clinical applications specialists for both the US and Global Accounts.

§  Responsible for providing telephone, remote, and potential on site applications support for CT products.

§  Responsible for applications/service issue escalation, reporting of product complaints in accordance with the existing reporting mechanism and processes.

§  Facilitate the dissemination of regulatory approved educational and training materials to customers and internal personnel as requested.

§  Analyze and evaluate image quality via remote services, media, etc.

§  Assist in distributing product and applications information between field and factory.

§  Maintain resource inventory (product manuals, updated computer technology, etc.).

§  Maintain day-to-day processes of call center.

§  Support corporate and divisional goals and abide by policies and procedures

§  Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Valid ARRT Certification or equivalent – required.
  • BA or BS preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years Clinical Education Specialist experience with a detailed knowledge of the latest Siemens CT imaging systems.
  • Knowledge/experience on older Siemen’s imaging and SW versions, including end of support products also preferred.
  • Clinical proficiencies to include Advanced Cardiac imaging (TAVR/TAVI acquisition, pediatric CCTA), Dual Energy CT, CT Intervention, Neuro Perfusion, Pediatric Imaging, and/or syngo.via experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with cross functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills including establishing and meeting timelines and schedules
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Advanced trouble shooting skills; ability to analyze problems and strategize for end resolution.
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment under stressful situations.
  • Travel 10%
