This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager – Controls & Instrumentation operating in Siemens focused vertical industries. The process analytics market is a demanding, application driven sector focusing on high technology solutions to a number of different customer bases including Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Waste To Energy, Power Generation, Steel and the developing Hydrogen Economy and Alternative Energy sector amongst many others.
Our business may be direct with end-users or via channel partners so the ability of the Business Development Manager to influence specification, maintain long-term customer relationships and develop strategic partnerships within the UK process analytics market is key to the future growth and success of the business.

• Understanding of the Analytical Products market drivers in order to implement a strategic plan to increase the Analytical Products business levels and opportunities within the UK market. 
• Develop relationships with key decision makers to clearly identify the AP potential and drive specification. 
• Full co-operation with the UK DI PA Account Development Managers & HQ Support partners to leverage maximum business potential from all relevant Vertical Industry focused accounts.
• Work with established Siemens Analytical Products strategic partners to further develop relationships and opportunities. 
• Identify & develop new Specialist Analytical Partners across UK & Ireland
• Identify & develop focused OEM accounts to develop sustainable delta growth
 
  
Use your skills to move the world forward.
 
• Technical competence in Siemens continuous gas analyser range, including laser analysers
• Technical competence in systems integration
• Strategy development i.e. identifying possible new markets and how to break into them.
• Customer relationship & Sales skills
• Financial competence i.e. ability to correctly price products and service
• Continuous improvement skills
