This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Business Development Professional (OEM), you will report to the Business Development Manager (OEM) and be responsible for:

  • Business Development Professional to:
    • Provide technical support to the Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance groups for international product registration for IVD assays
    • Guide Design Change Projects for OEM Application development related to IVD assays
    • Support the OEM Technician in feasibility/qualification testing for new application development needs. Requires hands-on clinical analyzer testing.
  • Support the OEM Technician in troubleshooting OEM customer complaints
  • Interface with OEM customers to support customer requests or complaints
  • Represent OEM in Technical Meetings as needed
  • Support the OEM Administrator as needed: SAP Order Management process
  • Technically support other OEM functions as directed by the OEM Manager

  • Technical knowledge of IVD assays and instruments
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for IVD products (REACH and IVDR)
  • Technical writing skills (Technical reports, Validation reports, Data Analysis)
  • Skilled in Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, TEAMS, SharePoint
  • Able to multi-task, problem-solve and work effectively both in-person and in remote environments
  • Very good knowledge of Word, Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting, graphs) and PowerPoint.  Experience with Power BI is a plus
  • Interface effectively with multiple organizations (R&D, QA, RA, Manufacturing, Technical)

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical laboratory experience (or equivalent)
  • Project Management experience
  • Ability to pass a DEA Background Check
  • Very minimal travel requirement (<5%)
