Job Description

Distribution & E-Business Business Development Manager

Plans and executes sales targets and activities in selling assigned products to customers, who sell Siemens products to their own customer base, in order to increase sales and to achieve defined commercial targets.

Responsibilities:

  • in order to expand business with distribution partners.
  • Plans sales volumes and potentials of target distributors.
  • Develop local action plan with distributors in defined regions
  • Provides information via CRM for forecasts and planning.
  • Analyses distributors' markets, strategy, position and needs, investigates and evaluates specific business opportunities for products.
  • Supports distributors directly in cost-/benefits analyses and calculations in order to demonstrate specific advantages of using Siemens products.
  • May act as point of contact in commercial matters.
  • Completes sales and revenue related key reporting.
  • Supports the development of strategic frameworks for Distribution Business and standardized processes for Distribution approach by preparing List pricing, Discount Structures, Incentive Schemes, Return Policies, Stock Proposals
  • Supports stock management activities throughout the ASEAN region in co-ordination with the BU representatives
  • Develop country specific Distribution Strategies in co-ordination and co-operation with the sales strategy of the business unit and the regional organization
  • Develop and propose Sales budgets for distribution channel
  • Develop local action plan with distributors in defined regions
  • Implementation of regional specific Distribution Business plan to reach business goals
  • Drives the development and implementation of E-Business activities and measures supporting the transition toward partner based transactional digital business models
  • Partner Management (DF FA S PTM); Global Account Team (DF SDA); National Distribution Managers (NDMs)
  • Engineering degree: mechanical, electrical, automation, industrial-engineering
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing)
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizes trainings for distributors sales forces  
  • Supporting product know how transfer to distributors and their customers
  • Implement web shops and supporting the web shops with siemens portfolio content (constant data transfer)

Experience:

  • Basic understanding of distribution markets in ASEAN region
  • Basic technical knowhow of low voltage equipment

Education & Training

  • Engineering degree: mechanical, electrical, automation, industrial-engineering
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing)
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
