This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Senior Director, KOL Management you will be expected to:

  • Define & implement the KOL strategy for Interventional Cardiology in North America
  • Create vision to build AT KOL powerhouse and lead team effectively
  • Drive reference site and center of excellence (COE) strategy

  • Develop strategy to identify and select strategic physician partners. Work across the organization to create engagement plans that align to business objectives and maximize partner strengths and interests. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage key physician societies to create partnership opportunities that further develop the market
  • Lead and execute clinical symposia, advisory boards and/or user groups for comprehensive market research and generate compelling market insights based on research, data, and feedback  
  • Demonstrating team orientation with strong communication skills and customer orientation.
  • Liaise with new product development team and others including regulatory, clinical, marketing, and external collaborators to develop and commercialize solutions  
  • Effectively engage directly with Interventional Cardiology thought leaders at congresses, during physician visits, and as needed on projects.  
  • Partner closely with sales organization to develop and implement strategies and ensure commercial alignment. 

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Deep knowledge of US interventional cardiology market, trends, and clinical/technical needs. Existing relationships with key opinion leaders on national stage, is required. 
  • Ability to lead, motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Strong knowledge of the medical industry and understanding of the regulations by which marketing must abide.
