This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Governance Lead, ST&BD, NAM, you will be responsible for:

  • You will be the central point of contact for any governance-related topics within North America (NAM) and be responsible for delegating directives, ensuring proper ownership, and reporting progress of internal controls
  • You will take ownership in managing and driving board office and governance topics for Siemens Healthineers in NAM, including analysis of directive/program requirements and documentation, working closely with the individual governance/program owners and the NAM executive team
  • You will assist special projects directed by the Managing Board or NAM executive team in support of our company-wide initiatives (e.g., data privacy)
  • Leveraging your experience and view of the big picture, you will help drive central strategic initiatives and support localization efforts
  • You will engage in continuous improvement projects, with a focus on increasing transparency, efficiency, and maintaining the level of assurance
  • You will be the central liaison with the Governance Owner, local contact, and Siemens Healthineers RIC Organization and will be the first point of contact for internal audits
  • You will participate in drafting effective policies, procedures, processes, and controls necessary to be compliant with the Siemens Healthineers RIC Organization
  • You will conduct impact analyses of key projects/directives and monitor their correct and timely implementation

  • You have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA) is an asset.
  • You have an extensive project and process management experience and successfully rolled out new processes, projects and/ or tools
  • You have a minimum of 5 years business experience, with 3 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or auditing
  • You have a solid understanding of internal controls, internal audit practices, financial accounting, along with strong intellectual and analytical skills
  • You have excellent written and communication skills, with a high attention to detail, and a proven ability to prepare and present information to the executive management level.
  • You have demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments, achieve deadlines and deliver quality results within a team environment
  • You have a strong focus on efficiency and process improvement, with the flexibility of being creative and thinking “outside the box”
  • You have a proven ability to build strong partnerships with teammates, key stakeholders, and business and functional experts and influence decision outcomes

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Willing to travel up to 20%
