Engagement Manager (Business Consultant)
To support our growth, in our “Digitalization changes everything!” journey, we are looking for an Engagement Manager to strengthen our Czech Professional Services department responsible for Solution Definition & Selling.
As part of our team, you are the bridge between the Customer, Siemens Sales and the services team, responsible for steering and facilitating services opportunities and is responsible for services business development.
Your Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
As Engagement Manager you will actively maintain and develop relationships within customer accounts and drive the positioning and messaging of the customer engagement. Parallel to this you will work together with the sales and presales team to identify and lead the engagement with all relevant external and internal Partners, advocating PLM and the value that we can deliver.
Engagement Managers are also part of the Proposal team, participating in delivering customer presentations to win new Software and Services opportunities for the Czech services. With the support of relevant subject matter guides and Project Management, you will help create the brief Solution Outline, Rough order of magnitude, contract, margin calculation and risk assessment for use in the commercial negotiations and project initiation.
As an integral member of the PLM bid proposal team, defining the service proposition with sales, presales and services, communicating a clear vision of the planned project objectives will be a key responsibility. Along with engaging customer stakeholders to address the importance of attention for organizational change management in relation to implementing successful PLM solutions.
In this senior position, you will help develop and maintain services business initiatives, coach/mentor colleagues and facilitate methodology training (internal and customer facing) as well as participate in the EMEA Community of Practice

Preferably you have experience or affinity in consulting activities in the area of complex IT transformations or you are passionate about technology and also have a strong affinity with today’s business challenges within the IT solution and definition & selling business.
- Bachelor/master’s degree in industrial engineering or IT
- Several years of professional services experience with at least 3 – 5 years of experience in project definition.
- Demonstrable background in PLM and technologies desirable.
- Excellent project management skills; can effectively manage and follow through on tasks and projects to successful conclusion
- Proficiency in English and Czech
- Availability to travel within Czech Republic
