This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a S&OP Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Support the Demand Planning group with an ability to translate strategic goals into specific actions and team objectives, leveraging the processes and tools designed by the S&OP Core Team.
  • Spearhead the S&OP monthly cycle process (Demand Consensus, Supply Planning, Demand/Supply Balancing, and Leadership Review), to ensure all aspects of it results in comprehensive and deliverable execution plan.
  • Other duties and miscellaneous projects as needed

  • Analyze replenishment parameters such as forecasts, order cycles, safety stock, lead times and suggest appropriate adjustments to ensure supply limiting inventory exposure.
  • Works to maximize pre-defined KPIs: Net requirement attainment, inventory turns, days on hand, Scrap levels, and forecast accuracy, etc.
  • Provide data driven insight and actionable feedback to key teams (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, etc.). Communicate your findings effectively to stakeholders in the company. You will act as personal advisor to Senior Management, in all Supply Chain related issues and escalate critical issues early to management
  • MBA or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, SCM and/or equivalent professional experience (Finance, Accounting, Engineering and other technical degrees are a plus)
  • Drive digitalization in analysis and reporting tools along with improvements in underlying masterdata structure.
  • Highly collaborative, team oriented, and comfortable leading cross-functional projects

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Advanced knowledge of Plan systems and processes. Experience in a structured business process (e.g. SIOP, S&OP, IBP) strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions. 
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
