What are my responsibilities?

o   Job Description: As a Scrum Master (C#) the person is responsible for delivering high-quality software, on-time and within budget by motivating and guiding the scrum team with agile/lean principles and practices to achieve the same.

o   Responsibilities

o         Co-ordinate with PO for sprint backlog management, concept grooming and continuous delivery of features.

o   •            Co-ordinate with architects and scrum team for backlog management, prototypes and technical grooming.

o   •            Effectively guide and facilitate the sprint ceremonies to consistently achieve the sprint goals (Sprint planning, reviews, retrospective, demo, daily stand-ups, and stakeholder meetings).

o   •            Protect scrum team from outside distractions, impediments or team conflicts, and maintain focus on product backlog and project timeline.

o   •            Work/collaborate/communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

o   •            Regularly monitor and control the metrics to meet project/product goals. (E.g. sprint/ release burn down, velocity, defects, etc.)

o   •            Guide the team with Agile/Lean principles and practices

o   •            Coaching, mentoring, and fostering the culture of transparency, continual improvement, and self organizing within the team.

o   •            Ensure requirement analysis and design of software solutions is done based on requirements engg. process and architectural /design guidelines.

o   •            Ensure implementation of features and/or bug-fixing and delivering solutions in accordance with coding guidelines and on-time with high quality.

o   •            Build trust & connect, create positive environment by empowerment, facilitating discussions, decision making and conflict resolution with emphasis on problem solving.

o   •            Identify and control project risks by means of prevention, mitigation and contingencies.

o   •            Ensure that sprint deliverables are adhering to the Quality and regulatory guidelines.

o   Knowledge and Experience

o   •            Around 11 years of industry experience, with at least Three years of experience in the Scrum Master role diligently applying agile/lean principles, practices and techniques to deliver value to the end customers.

o   •            Experience in software design and development (C#, OOPS, Design principles & patterns, Data structures, unit testing frameworks etc.)

o   •            Experience in Project management tools and techniques. (E.g. Excel, TFS for backlog management, WBS, Estimation techniques, RCA tools...)

o   •            Ability to effectively manage Risks, communications and stakeholders.

o   •            Able to work with team to resolve dependencies/ ambiguous situations.

o   •            Exposure to SVN, Git is preferred

o   •            Strong knowledge of software engineering lifecycle and PLM processes.

o   •            Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

o   •            Excellent communication skills.

o   •            Good analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.

o   •            Should be Enthusiastic, Approachable, self-motivated and result oriented.

o   •            Industry automation domain knowledge will be added advantage.
