Siemens Smart Infrastructure - Building Products is looking for a Territory Sales Manager (TM) focused on driving sales initiatives, prospecting new partners, and delivering profitable growth for our Building Automation -VAP Channel. The territory includes Puerto Rico, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Home base for the candidate is flexible within the region, with a requirement to live near a major airport. Travel expectation is 50%+. The TM will report to the Sr. National Sales Manager and will have no direct reports.

Responsibilities:

Independently manage territory to achieve profitable growth and volume requirements
Present, promote and sell Automation solutions to existing and prospective partners
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Develop partnerships with existing customers to increase share of wallet, while prospecting new value-added partners (VAPs) to increase market share
Ability to demonstrate strategic approach to new & existing partners and opportunities through opportunity planning
Strategic business development and onboarding of new partners
Develop a proactive response to customer needs and business priorities, independently utilizing Siemens resources (i.e., Marketing, Product Managers, Field Support, etc.)
Define strategies and business plans to increase market growth across the account base and to meet or exceed corporate sales targets
Become a trusted advisor and solution provider to our partners by demonstrating industry knowledge in the following areas: BACnet, Building Automation, and Field Devices (Valves, VFD’s, Actuators, etc.)
Perform to plan. Set weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for overall sales, sales calls, product mix/segmentation, new prospects, training, as well as many other sales metrics
Assist our Value-Added Partners with product training, joint sales calls, and estimating

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 5+ years of direct outside sales experience
Knowledge of industry and Building Automation
Successful track-record of consistently exceeding quota-carrying goals
Excellent relationship building skills
Account Management and Business Development experience
Excellent initiative, and interpersonal communications skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to travel 50% of the time
Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing.
Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.
