This is an entry level position in a Manufacturing group that is responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays.
This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Biochemist 1, will be responsible for:
*Performing purification and conjugation of various proteins used in components of in-vitro diagnostic assays in a regulated environment.
*Accurately and neatly recording information while following established written protocols. *Working as a member of a team to perform a variety of biochemical techniques used to purify and conjugate proteins.
*May assist with validation of process improvements or new product development.
Required Education, Skills & Experience:
*BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry. Recent college graduates with limited laboratory experience will be considered.
*Demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
*Proficient in time management
*Possess well developed interpersonal skills,
*Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and exhibit attention to detail.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
*Industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO.
*Experience in protein purification and conjugation techniques.
*Local candidates are preferred.
