Logistics Coordinator - Siemens Mobility – Cairo office

Today, we are recruiting for the Logistics Coordinator position to Join our team in Cairo office. This is an excellent career opportunity for Procurement Professionals looking to join a truly international team.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Management and administration of the equipment’s logistics ensuring correct details and onwards deliveries
  • Warehousing and Inventory management
  • Follow-up of logistics operations with suppliers
  • Update on delivery schedules of material and commercial items that are linked to customer requirements.
  • Administration of logistics documentation, customs clearance, transportation, storage, licenses and insurances
  • Coordination of delivery of material to the sites
  • Administration and approval of all import invoices
  • Providing customs & other documentation to the finance department on time (booking purposes)
  • Follow up with Commercial Logistics for timely shipment execution as per letter of credit timelines.
  • Keep track on all projects for execution timelines, penalty clauses and support project team on project timelines
  • Supporting Project Managers in terms of regulatory and governmental approvals from related institutes.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor degree required - preferably in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain or Logistics Management
  • Proven working experience 5 years of experience in contracting company / organization with minimum 3 years in logistics.
  • Experienced in public governmental customers requirements
  • Excellent command of English
  • Well-organized with sharp attention to details.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • A solid understanding of current business processes, policies and local regulations is an essential asset in this position
  • Good adaptability and ability to work in flexible hours to meet the project demand and deadlines.
