Sales Large Drive Applications

As a sales engineer at Siemens Large Drives Applications (LDA), you will be responsible for develop business opportunities, create, and take care of customer relationships and present optimal business development to our customers. You will be part of a Nordic team and be responsible for customers in the Nordics

The challenge

In your daily work, you will have an active and relationship-creating role. Depending on the customer and relation you will need to travel, communicate via teams or your ideas to build long lasting and sustainable business relations. We are serving all type of customers e.g. OEM, End customer, SI, in all type of industries e.g. Minerals, Water Wastewater, Energy. The job requires quotation work, pricing, and negotiation incl. contract terms. Support functions are given and to be able to work efficient in the team you will be responsible for maintaining and updating our CRM system on your business

Your customers are located what we call the "Nordic region" meaning Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland & the Baltic countries.

What is required of me?

To get on in the role, you need to be passionate about sales, be innovative, relationship-building, and adaptable. Our core is Medium Voltage Drive solutions based on Motors, Drives and Generators. You need the knowledge to find the best solution for the customer, take innovations out to the market and develop business cases based on our value add. Sense of business, interest in sales and customer issues and constantly working on process improvements is central to you. Furthermore, we see that you are sensitive to the customer's problems and take responsibility for establish these to our Service department.


Who are you?

We believe that you have a good knowledge of Drive systems and motors. You have the background and Sales education and spirit to be part of our team. Several years of sales experience in the field are beneficial

If you know Siemens' portfolio in drive systems, you definitely have an edge to be successful in the role. Driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish (or Norwegian/ Danish) and English, in both speech and writing are a prerequisite.
