Siemens Technology Research Collaboration Process and Operation Manager

Job Description

I. Public Funding Group (PFG) Process and Operation Management
1. Lead PFG operational excellence
- PFG Strategic Planning together with PFG External Collaboration Managers
- Organize PFG portfolio management cross locations
- Optimize internal process of R&D Activities Supported by Public Funding
- Facilitate project pipeline review, identify gap, and propose action
- Ensure compliance awareness and process implementation
- Prepare PFG financial status review with support of FIN, ensure breakeven as result
2. Quality gate for external application documents and materials before submission (mainly focus on process and rules) 
- Cooperate with PM on documentation and guide the process
- Check input from various partners with critical thinking   
- Facilitate management review, drive approval process 
3. Organize and Support Internal\External communication
- Support PFG External Collaboration Managers to build up collaboration relationship with internal partners (T inside, GA&RO) and external (local S&T committee) partners
- Organize onsite communication activities with purpose
- PFG related events support  
4. Drive project quotation
- Provide policy consulting and advice for proposal
- Drive quotation process
- Work with RG on the quotation preparation and ensure final release
5. Facilitate risk assessment and contract review
- Facilitate preparation on project briefing before application, guide risk assessment
- Facilitate contracting process, communicate with internal/external partners
- Guide on emergency
6. Support T S&G budgeting and rolling forecast
- Prepare T S&G yearly target to go including pipeline and S&G booking
- Communicate with RG level for T S&G rolling forecast  

II. Research Collaboration Process and Operation Management
Lead Process Definition, Management and Optimization for Research Collaboration Topics including but not limited to
1.    BU Collaboration Projects related to External Customer\Partner
2.    Cross-RGs Collaboration Projects
3.    S&G Pilot Customer\Project Selection
4.    Information and materials classification and sharing

Job Requirements

3.    Good sense in business risks, capable to define mitigation measures based on profound understanding in regulations and policies
4.    Concrete cross-functional knowledge (corporate functions), and strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
