Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as Quality Assurance Program Operations Manager. Please note that this role can be remote based anywhere in the US. 

This employee will play a large role with Siemens Healthineers Laboratory Diagnostics coagulation product line with our large IDN customer base. The position will encompass being involved from start to finish with the onboarding of our hemostasis Quality Assurance Program (QAP) working closing with our field-based personnel, Marketing team, Technical Application Organization, and Supply Chain partners. The Operations Manager must be able to see projects through to the end in a seamless manner. You will be acting as a liaison and representative of Siemens Healthineers with customers and internal partners. You will work and interact with various customer Project Managers in many capacities such as lot standardization, implementing QAP processes across multi-site IDNs, collaborating with equipment implementations, and forecasting customer utilization in order to facilitate role overs annually. This position will be remote based and report into the Customer Supply Chain Customer Operations organization.

Please note that this role will be remote/home based. The ability to travel up to 40% is required.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Delegate tasks on projects to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Servie as a point-of-contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Communicate with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Act as the Voice of the Customer,(which looks like what?)  - conduct customer satisfaction surveys, analyze data, and provide action steps to improve customer satisfaction
  • Be the Liaison for communication between Internal departments – Strategic Corporate Accounts/Key Account Executive/Account Executive /Technical Application Specialist /Planning /QAP/ Marketing

Drive initiatives /projects

  • Lot standardization
  • Analyzer standardization
  • Add new assays
  • EOL of assay/analyzers
  • Auto-verification

Standardization Management

  • Work with customers to verify volumes, kits sizes
  • Work with demand planning for lot standardization / forecasting
  • QAP new assays and installs

Coordinate the timeline for:
  • Instrument installs – Electrical / instruments / LIS
  • New Assay validation and implementation
  • Lot roll overs
  • Communicate customer requirements to QAP

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of project management and related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Knowledge of LD Hemostasis product line and Quality Assurance Program preferred
