We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Service Sales Executive to join our national team in either Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne. The role will be focused on battery energy storage systems, STATCOMs, cranes, variable speed drives and digital services. This role would suit a Sales Professional with a service background, or a Maintenance Planner/Leading Hand/Manager looking to move into a sales role.
This role will be challenging and rewarding, your primary function is to provide efficient and effective interface to the sales team to assist in lead generation, opportunity development and roll-out of new service offerings, whilst also being responsible for effectively handling customer enquiries. You will support the generation of service revenue and foster relationships with the sales team to support sales and increase customer loyalty.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Performing all required sales activities including;
- Evaluating customer requirements and developing a solution to meet those requirements
- Preparing and submitting offers to customers
- Negotiating offers with customers
• Be the customer advocate within the Siemens organisation, taking responsibility for all customer activities ensuring a timely and positive outcome
• Perform sales administration tasks such as forecasting and reporting, pipeline management, CRM management etc.
The candidate will be highly motivated with the ability to demonstrate aptitude in understanding customer requirements and creating customer value with service offerings. A technical understanding of VSD’s, battery energy storage systems, STATCOMs and automation solutions is preferred. Specific experience in mining, water waste water, food & beverage, manufacturing and renewables will be useful.
The candidate will have a Degree/Diploma in a technical and/or commercial discipline or equivalent experience in a selling/field services role. You must be able to communicate effectively and be able to build strong relationships at all levels internally and within customer organisations.
