In Production’s fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will learn to exhibit composure as you develop with each new challenge.  You will build and inspire high-performing teams of unique individuals who deliver outstanding products for our customers.  Most importantly, you share the Siemens values with everyone in your team and the business.

As a Team Leader, you will gain knowledge of Siemens products, and manufacturing processes. You will gain learn about the tools and techniques to continuously improve and engage with support teams to find solutions.

You will be capable of actively building team spirit – training and developing other team members in a variety of disciplines.  Supporting Siemens’s goal of providing innovative solutions for our customers. 


The position is based in our award winning factory in Congleton,Cheshire .

This is your role. What part will you play?
  
• Proven ability to lead and influence others, positively.
• Experience of diplomatically managing multiple commitments.
• Ability to adapt to challenges while remaining calm in a constantly changing environment.
• Manage quality process requirements, strive to achieve zero defects, develop action plan where defects are occurring. Provide data for analysis to identify deficiencies, initiate and facilitate improvement activities so that quality improves. Use CIP tools and techniques to find root causes to prevent further occurrences.
• Deliver products to customers on time by achieving the published build plan. To plan and ensure all resources are in place in the cell, liasing and communicating with other teams to co-ordinate activity.
• Foster a learning culture.  Engage with your teams to identify opportunities for development and empowerment.
 
 
We don’t need superheroes, just super minds
 
·You will have had some experience in a technical manufacturing environment, ideally in a leadership or technical role. ILM Level 2-4 or equivalent qualification
· An understanding of HRD processes; dialogue process; quality strategy and processes; problem solving; HS&E legislation and processes; LEAN manufacturing; commercial awareness; understanding of productivity imp't processes and CIP. ·Demonstrable Leadership knowledge/skills.
· You must be able to commit to night shifts to help us deliver our Production requirements
