The Information Technology (IT) Student Intern will be working with the North American (NAM) IT Business Relationship Management (BRM) team and reporting to the Siemens Healthineers IT NAM BRM Director. The student intern will support the NAM BRM team with helping to drive stakeholder topics and providing local IT support where needed.

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As an Information Technology (IT) Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Help users in migration and transformation of IT services.
  • Assist with building Microsoft Power BI reports
  • Conduct data analysis using MS Excel
  • Assist with creation of PowerPoint decks for all management levels
  • Provide miscellaneous project administrative activities (e.g., meeting notes) for BRM topics/projects
  • Work with NAM BRMs on other tasks as assigned
  • Attend various meetings with BRM stakeholders
  • Follow-up on assigned tasks by different parties to its completion

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • You must be a rising junior or senior enrolled in a Bachelor program (rising junior/senior) or Master level student ideally majoring in IT, Business Analytics, or Data Science, Software Development or Software Engineering
  • You must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • You must feel comfortable working in a fully virtual environment
  • Preferably you will be east coast based or local to the Malvern, PA office (50 miles or less) and be available to work part-time (up to 20 hours/week) during the academic year
  • You must have permanent work authorization
  • Great communicator – ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Critical thinker – demonstrated ability to tackle complex problems effectively
  • Avid learner – continuous learner of all things technical and process
  • Coordinator – have the required skill to prioritize tasks and follow up on them till completion

Start date: ASAP; 6 month duration.
