Siemens Mobility is seeking to hire a Project Engineer/Delivery Manager who works closely with both our Engineering and Project Management teams to ensure that all engineering activities are delivered within the requisite time, cost, and quality framework - in conjunction with the Project Manager and the requirements set out in the contract.
This position will sit in our new Pittsburgh offices where you will work independently, but collaborate with our internal and external customers to include Engineering and Project Management managers, project schedulers, field operations, installation contractors, and finance.

Our vision for the Project Engineer/Delivery Manager is one where design documents and requirements provided by the Systems Engineering team are then executed in a timely and organized fashion. This role would coordinate all engineering deliverables in the project and provision of support for execution of the project and carry out the work packages based upon the activities outlined in the project schedule.Responsibilities:
- Sub-system engineering results
- Planning, organization, and execution of the engineering effort
- Controlling and reporting of engineering tasks and work packages
- Interface management
- Transparent communication
- Resolve project compliance issues
- Identify and assess all risks throughout the engineering scope of the project
- Identify and implement all opportunities to improve project results
- Support claims management
- Provide Estimated Time to Complete (ETC) data
- Align with the Siemens Business Conduct Guidelines (e.g. occupational health and safety and environmental protection)
