Area Sales Team Leader

Job Description

• Responsible for planning and achieving order income target for LV Switchgears , LV Motors & Service portfolio offerings. Approximate Volume: INR 1”200/-.
• Manage effectively the channel partner relationship since the majority of the business is through them.
• Constantly evaluate market conditions and spot business opportunities by analyzing the planned investments budgets (Capex / OpenX) of potential and existing customers.
• Cultivate customer connect, build and maintain long term relationships with existing and new customers. Support them by creating a value proposition in order to demonstrate specific advantages of using Siemens products
• Actively participate in the selling process, attend techno-commercial discussions and negotiates proposals with customer in cooperation with other involved team members. channel partners and the management.
• Drive systematic sales approach based on market & customer transparency. Do fact based sales forecasting and key reporting to the management on a monthly basis within the stipulated timelines. Support CRM process ensuring KPI’s i.e data quality, funnel adequacy, market transparency  are met as per organizational requirements
• Manage a large team of sales engineers( ~20 nos), provide leadership, guidance and empowerment so that they work as a result orientated and well motivated team. Monitor individual performance regularly, identify gaps, suggest appropriate improvement measures and enable competency development for them to be more effective
• Act as a voice of customer & channel partner & collaborate internally for timely closure of complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.     

Use your skills to move the world forward- What we are looking for in you:
• B.E / B.Tech/ Diploma  in Electrical Engineering with 15-20 years of experience in the field of LV Switchgear & Motors. Exposure to the business development function will be an added advantage.
• Extremely well developed proficiency in the area of customer relationship & management as well as in the area of selling & negotiation skills.
• Very high level of competency in the area of channel partner management as well as in depth knowledge of the channel policy & sales policy.
• Well honed leadership skills in order to be able to manage a large & diverse team
• Excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Adequate proficiency on MS office and standard CRM tools
