Position Overview

Mergers and Acquisitions is a key strategy that help Siemens achieve its goals and growth metrics. Siemens’ IT organization is seeking an ideal candidate to help support this strategy in its M&A practice. The ideal candidate will support the business with onboarding new acquisitions into Siemens by performing upfront analysis of implementing IT landscape to achieve acquisitions’ goals and targets


  • Responsible for end-to-end process mapping of business practices into the IT landscape
  • Develop IT integration concept in concert with business leads (scope, resources, timeline, budget)
  • Work with extended IT team such as enterprise architects to determine the best solution in solving customer problems and satisfy customer requirements
  • Collaborates with developers and the quality assurance team to develop and test functionality. Collaborate with Functional Architects and Business Analysts to ensure end to end process integration

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Business process architect who can play SME role in complex global projects
  • Project Management skills
  • Held previous lead roles like SAP consultant, SAP team lead or SME Business process consultant
  • Experience in working with global customers that have operations in multiple countries and aware of global impact on local business practices
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and command trust through knowledge and leadership
  • Must have a very strong functional experience in SAP and how SAP interacts with other landscape applications
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex business processes thus defining a path forward to reach implementation phase of such processes
  • Proven problem-solving skills – ability to assess a specific business scenario and develop an appropriate technical approach to support the desired business outcomes
  • Works with the user community to identify their requirements, design enhancements and desired system functionality
  • Serves as functional integration owner for area of expertise to support new and existing functionality while working closely with developers to support implementation tasks
  • Minimal travel is required (approximately 30%)
  • Must work a flexible work schedule to support a global team.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Proficient in MS Office
  • ERP/SAP experience
  • MS Project
  • Bachelor or higher college degree
