As a Sales Development Representative, you will be part of a rapidly growing team in our Shanghai office and will have global support for a talented and successful global sales team. You will be the first point of contact for prospects arriving from our demand generation programs as well as outbound efforts.  You would be a key part of the foundation of our China business and will have an opportunity to make an immediate impact on the success of this expansion. 

You'll help our customer drive digital innovation by: 
  • Following up on Sales Qualified Leads 
  • Working closely with the Marketing and Sales teams 
  • Setting up outbound calling campaigns 
  • Initiating smart lead finding 
  • Working booth during events 
  • Finding the right decision makers and or influencers within enterprise accounts 
  • Establish customer relationships with the "decision making unit", such as Purchasing Manager, IT Manager, Finance Manager, General Director or other influencers 
  • Asking the right questions to find out if an opportunity is a Mendix Fit along a set of criteria 
  • Setting appointments with prospects 
  • Doing proper handovers to the Account Executives 
You're the innovator we need if you have: 
  • 1-3 years of experience in enterprise software sales as a SDR/BDR or Inside Sales 
  • Excellent phone and written communication skills, ideally with working proficiency in multiple languages 
  • Proficient in Mandarin as candidate will be required to liaise with Chinese stakeholders
  • The desire to master this role and take on new challenges
