This role is well-suited to an ambitious professional looking for the next step in your career. As the Manager of Automation & Operations you will be responsible for:

  • You will collaborate with stakeholders such as Product Owners, Test Leads and Requirement Engineers to develop project verification plans
  • You will lead a team responsible for designing and developing automated test cases that generate objective evidence
  • You will lead a team responsible for configuration management and continuous integration
  • You will evolve existing practices and processes from CI to CD
  • You will follow and enforce SAFe Agile processes
  • You will satisfy internal software quality process through automation, wherever possible, including automating test cases, automating build and release activities and generation of required artifacts
  • You will manage departments tools
  • You will utilize tool stack to produce metrics upon request

Experience and requirements for success in this role:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent technical degree
  • You have 5+ years’ experience managing, or as an individual contributor on a software test team
  • You have 3+ years’ Python or equivalent scripting language experience
  • You have 3+ years’ experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium or equivalent
  • You have 3+ years’ experience with Jenkins or equivalent software automation server technologies
  • You have strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
  • You have team and contract management experience
  • You have distributed team management experience
  • You have a track record of driving digital innovation
  • You have the ability to influence others and provide design leadership
  • You can coach in Agile practices, coach’s individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • You support team members and has the skills required to resolve conflicts within the team
  • You understand testing principles and relevant regulatory guidelines
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment

Preferred skills:

  • Experience managing end-to-end SW development life cycle
  • Familiarity with design controls and medical device software development
  • Test architecture and test design experience
  • Product line engineering experience
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps tools
  • SAFe familiarity and practical experience
  • Ability to communicate technical information across all roles & levels
