Project Management Professional

Job Description

Siemens Logistics LLC is searching for a Project Management Professional for our Airport Logistics Operation team. This position will report to the Director of Operations.
You will perform on-site technical and operational support in the design, development, installation and maintenance of baggage handling systems of a complex nature. You will support our Project Managers and be the interface to our clients and consultants in all site related topics.
Manages the on-site project execution team.
Interfaces with clients and consultants.
Performs complex site surveys to develop base or installation design plans. Performs training customers to maintain and adjust complex equipment. 
Completes and submits reports covering all job activity. 
Performs in maintaining complex tools, test equipment, calibration items, etc. 
May complete the planning and estimating of labor categories, rates, material dollar costs, transportation expenses and per diem rates to complete complex proposals. 
Performs the review of complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics and provides continual guidance throughout task duration.
Acquire and maintain General Contractor Licenses for BHS Installations
Education: BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

Knowledge and Experience: Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments. Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues. Typically 10+ years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.

Broad knowledge and experience in general construction is required as you are requested to acquire and maintain general contractor licenses in various states and cities.

Direction of Others: Provide general guidance or train support and/or professional staff.

Key Working Relationships: Primarily intra-organizational contacts and external contacts.

Travel: 95%, projects assignments are probably in San Diego but may be anywhere in the Country
