We’re currently recruiting interns for our summer 2022 Strategic Student Program. Our intern positions will allow you to find a career path that most inspires you. Baseline Requirements:

·       Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
  • Anticipated graduation year 2024
  • Able to work in Cincinnati, OH for a summer 2022 internship (either for the full summer, or only for the 1st month of training and onboarding) - company relocation assistance will be provided to candidates not local to Cincinnati

Cincinnati is home to the Reds (MLB) and FC Cincinnati (MLS), King Island, multiple major concert venues, nature preserves with wooded hiking, beautiful bike baths around the city and surrounding rivers, more than 50 craft breweries, and the nation’s largest intact urban historic district – Over the Rhine, which displays the city’s German history while being home to some of the best shops and restaurants in Cincinnati.

Siemens Industry Software Inc. is a technology supplier to the United States Federal Government.  Recently The White House issued an Executive Order requiring most federal workers, contractors and subcontractors who do business with the government to get vaccinated against COVID-19 unless granted an accommodation due to a disability or sincerely held religious belief or practice.  The Company has decided to pause enforcement of the vaccine mandate for the time being while the issue is addressed by the courts. We will be monitoring the situation closely and may lift the pause if required to do so in order to be in compliance with federal law.  If this pause is lifted you will be expected to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Lifecycle Collaboration Software

As part of our Lifecycle Collaboration Software (LCS) organization, you will become immersed in development projects for our Teamcenter software. Teamcenter is our database management software, which allows customers to digitally manage product and manufacturing data. Teamcenter virtually connects and enables collaboration with key players across the product development line. In LCS you will help define new approaches and create fresh functionality.

Over summer 2022, for Teamcenter development we have intern positions available within the following teams:

  • User Experience
  • Devops Quality Engineering
  • Base Application Team (applications for Change Management, Workflow/Process Management, Document Management and Collaboration Tools)
  • BOM (Bill of Material functionality)
  • CI/CD Automated Testing (UI and Server side, as well as Performance and Scale testing of Teamcenter and Active Workspace)
  • Cloud Native Microservices

Depending on your team, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Design and develop Teamcenter framework and tools
  • Create tools, utilities and script development for automation
  • Dive into requirements definition, in-depth analysis, and code implementation
  • Discover solutions to our problem reports
  • Studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Strong coding skills in C, C++, C#, JAVA or XML
  • Commanding grasp of JavaScript, HTML, ANGULAR
  • Have experience with, or able to learn, development environments (Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclipse), development tools, and Windows/Unix environments
  • Write clean, robust and maintainable code
  • Inspire collaboration
  • Be a curious question asker
  • Driven and self-motivated

·       Champion all steps in the software development lifecycle (specs, design, construction, test planning and execution)

·       Validate software quality through unit testing, writing automated tests, and bug fixing

·       Analyze data and review our build/test metrics to make key recommendations
