This is a role well suited for an ambitious professional that is passionate about healthcare, understands the interworking’s of SAP, tables, interfaces and reporting, can translate defects into requirements, is always looking for ways to digitally improve the business, can drive IT projects (SDLC) for the business and provide a story with your data analytics.  As a SAP Application Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Being a team player within a production support team and sharing your knowledge and experience with your other team members
  • Deep diving into SAP production issues/defects and resolving them as quickly as possible while tracking root causes and trends to improve overall system performance that ultimately reduces rework and improves the customer experience
  • Working closely with IT to solve more complex issues
  • Providing data analytics to Customer Operations management, including opportunities of improvement to drive cost savings
  • Assisting with ad-hoc reporting and analytics based on the requirements provided with the ability to visualize the data (tell a story)
  • Understanding SDLC process and Agile and being able to translate business requirements into business cases/user stores to work closely with IT development to drive projects through implementation
  • Learning new digitalization opportunities to increase automation and reduce rework
  • Presenting any changes impacting the business to the Customer Operations organization

  • Interfacing with IT development and managing IT Projects representing the Customer Supply Chain organization and their best interests to improve business for our customers
  • Creating and interpreting data and being able to translate into business driven opportunities and insights
  • Assisting with driving business process improvement initiatives to reduce costs

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
  • 3+ years of SAP experience is required
  • 3+ years in a production support role
  • 3+ years of data analytics
  • 3+ years experience in driving IT development projects preferred
  • Microsoft Power Platform experience preferred

Experience in driving digitalization within an organization preferred
